Welcome to the family hobby and sport of Radio Control Car Racing in Northern New Mexico!

The Northern New Mexico Radio Control Car Club has been in existence since 1987. Our club is dedicated to the hobby and sport of Radio Controlled Car Racing. During the Spring, Summer and Fall months we race 1/10th and 1/8th scale electric and nitro powered off-road vehicles as well as 1/10th scale electric touring cars. In the Winter we race 1/18th, 1/12th and 1/10th scale electric on-road cars indoors on Ozite carpet.

August 16, 2008 It was a nice, cool day of racing thanks to the overcast skies. Some light rain showers kept the tracks moist for us and we had a wonderful day with a good turnout for the race. The 1/10th scale track ended up being deceptively loose for the first round of qualifying, but after a good sweeping it started sticking. For those people who would like to join us for indoor carpet racing now is the time to start thinking and planning. Before we know it the Summer season will be over and we'll be rolling out the carpet!


August 2, 2008 We had a light race day but it was still lots of fun! Two relatively new Truggy racers came by and started getting a feel for the track. We hope they keep coming! There are only 3 more races left in our outdoor season. Come by and help us make the best use of them!

King of the Hill 2008

July 13, 2008 King of the Hill 2008 was a great success! A total of 15 racers attended and 6 classes were run. By far the most intense race was the 20 minute A-Main for 1/8 scale nitro buggies with 8 vehicles running together. Positions were very close the entire race and the top 3 spots changed hands several times.

Congratulations to everone who participated for running some great races and a big thanks to everyone who helped make this even possible. We can't wait until next year!
