From April through September we race outdoors at the Overlook R/C Raceway, our facility located at Overlook Park in White Rock, New Mexico. The weather is almost always perfect and very rarely will we get rained out.

The following are classes that we will run during our outdoor season. We generally require at least 3 cars for a class to have its own heat, but exceptions can and will be made.

• 1/8th Scale Buggy
• 1/8th Scale Truggy/Monster Truck
• 1/10th Scale Nitro Truck
• 1/10th Scale 2WD Electric Buggy
• 1/10th Scale 4WD Electric Buggy
• 1/10th Scale Electric Truck
• 1/10th Scale Electric Touring Car

Most of the classes are run each raceday with the exception of 1/10th Scale Nitro Truck and 1/10th Scale 4WD Electric Buggy.

The only restriction we have concerning the electric classes is that racers must use a 19 Turn motor or brushless equivalent. There are no battery restrictions. Most club members are currently using NiMH batteries with one or two starting to use Li-Po.

For the 1/8th scale Nitro vehicles, club members generally run engines ranging in displacement from .21 to .28. We currently have no restrictions on engine size, power output or fuel type.
